- Corporate Parking Enforcement Officer Hourly Wage : $28.00 CAD per hour Job Type: Full-time Location: Waterloo, Ontario The fun stuff: Corporate Campus Onsite Meals Available Gym Usage Available And many more on-Campus Benefits What we're looking for: Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and other vehicles for parking violations. Issues citations for improper use of specifi cally designated, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violations. Operate a license plate reading technology through touch screen interface. Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors. Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance such as charging EV, and infl ating tires, etc. Operates computer equipment and two-way radio, handheld device and technology. Completes data required for citations including but not limited to violation type, time, date and location of off ense, vehicle license plate number and/or vehicle identifi cation number; Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies. Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance with a hand held device and issuing memes. Exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people. Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment, facility upkeep and maintenance. What's in it for you? We promote from within - park your career here!
