Overview Pioneer Acquisitions is a real estate investment firm located in Rye, NY. Pioneer is seeking a detail oriented and experienced bookkeeper to manage cash flows and record income for our corporate - level entities and to facilitate quarterly distributions to investors across several dozen properties owned by Pioneer. Job Description Responsibilities will include: Record all income and expenses for Pioneer's corporate-level operating entities. Generate monthly invoices from operating entities to each property for asset management and other fees. Record and pay all corporate-level expenses. Reconcile bank accounts of each operating entity on a monthly basis. Generate financial reports for each operating entity on a monthly basis. Manage cash flows between operating entities and properties. Work with tax accountants on end of year tax reporting. Other related tasks as required. Qualifications The successful candidate will demonstrate the following characteristics: Motivated, proactive and able to make decisions independently. Minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping and proficient in general accounting principles and practices. Ability to manage and track complicated cash flows. Excellent attention to detail and highly organized. Proficient in Excel, knowledge of Yardi Voyager preferred. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Admin or Finance OR Associates Degree with 2 years related experience.
