Practice Area: Corporate - Securities and Capital Markets, Job Type: Partner, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Cleveland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks corporate and securities partner with 8+ years of work experience in either a law firm or corporate legal environment handling broad corporate/business transactional matters. The candidate will handle transactions with limited oversight or assistance from the assigning partner, depending on their experience level. Will communicate with clients to commence an engagement, keep the matter moving forward on a timely basis and make certain that the efforts of the firms support staff are in tune with the clients needs. Communicate with financial advisors, insurance agents and companies, accountants, and other members of the clients team when authorized to do so by the client as may be necessary to complete the engagement. Prepare drafting instructions for the support staff or prepare the initial draft of documents (if the matter is complex). Participate in the firms marketing activities, including public speaking engagements, writing articles and blogs, and leading CLE seminars and other activities. Experience in private securities is required. Experience with private placements, ideally including fund experience, both federal and state compliance essential. Experience with equity compensation plans needed. Experience with Crowdfunding and/or Regulation A is preferred. Experience with basic public securities, including ownership reporting is preferred. A transferrable book of business is preferred. Established more than 40 years ago, this reputed full-service law firm is based in Ohio and represents clients nationwide. A few of its areas of practice are corporate law, securities law, real estate law, litigation, and domestic relations-family law. The firm employs a significantly large group of highly competent attorneys. Community service involvement is encouraged at this law practice.
