The role is suited for a motivated and collaborative attorney who enjoys litigating and working in a supportive legal environment.Location:Chicago, IllinoisDuties:Review and prepare corporate documents and contracts.Conduct legal research and draft briefs.Prepare and argue motions in court.Manage fact and expert discovery.Take and defend depositions.Assist with trial preparation and strategy.Handle cases involving corporate and commercial litigation.Insurance defense experience is a plus.Requirements:3-4 years of experience in corporate and commercial litigation.Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Illinois State Bar license.Skills:Excellent drafting and oral communication skills.Proficiency in preparing and handling legal motions, depositions, and discovery.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.Strong organizational and time management skills.
