Our client, a San Diego based manufacturing organization, is seeking a talented Controller to add to their team. This is a great opportunity with a stable and growing organization. The selected professional would be responsible for the following duties. Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below. Salary:$110-$140k Responsibilities: Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Produce consolidated financial statements. Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures. In conjunction with the CFO, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis. Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation. Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow. Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity. Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts. Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics. Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience and a solid knowledge of NetSuite accounting software.
