Description:
A company is looking for a Controller to manage client relationships and oversee a team in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for multiple clients, managing workflow and coordination among team members Drive the month-end close process and prepare quarterly financial statements, including partners' capital allocations Prepare audit materials and manage year-end financial statement audits and tax work Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in the alternative asset industry, preferably in Venture Capital or Private Equity External auditor experience, CPA certification, or MBA is a plus In-depth understanding of US GAAP and partnership accounting, including complex allocation waterfalls Experience in a client-facing role leading engagements on multiple clients Proficient in accounting systems such as Xero or Quickbooks
