Job Title: Controller Position Company: Pecan Tree Pediatrics, P.A. Location: Rockwall, Texas This position can be P/T and or Remote with Quarterly on-site visits. Position Overview: We seek a dedicated and experienced Controller to join our team and oversee the financial management of our multiple-location operation. The Controller will be responsible for our practice's accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our clinical and administrative teams. Responsibilities: Manage the accounting operations and provide oversight and management support. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll. Assisting with the design, implementation, and compliance of the organization's accounting policies and procedures Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to support daily operations. Monitor and analyze financial performance across all locations, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate and oversee tax filings and other financial reporting obligations. Assist with various activities and ad hoc requests associated with financial reporting. Qualifications/Skills: 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficient in financial software systems such as QBO Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple locations and priorities. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
