This role is ideal for a talented legal professional with a background in negotiating and drafting design and construction agreements and a commitment to high standards of excellence in client service and legal expertise.DutiesNegotiate and draft comprehensive design and construction agreements.Collaborate with clients on real estate development projects, public procurement matters, and large-scale industrial capital projects.Address construction claims resolution with a strategic, client-focused approach.Maintain a deep understanding of industry practices, applying relevant knowledge to each transaction.Build and sustain strong client relationships and effective partnerships with colleagues.Requirements3-6 years of experience in construction and design transactions.Proven skills in drafting and negotiating legal agreements in construction or real estate settings.Familiarity with industry-standard construction and design forms (preferred but not required).Prior experience in real estate development, public procurement, or construction claims resolution is a plus.EducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed to practice law in Ohio or eligible for immediate licensing reciprocity.SkillsHigh level of academic performance with strong analytical abilities.Exceptional writing and research skills.Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to build rapport and sustain professional relationships with both clients and peers.Demonstrated work ethic and attention to detail.Job LocationCincinnati, OH This prestigious general practice firm manages its practice groups efficiently and matter-of-factly.
