The role focuses on providing legal expertise in the areas of construction, real estate development, and public procurement, working alongside a team dedicated to offering exceptional legal solutions.DutiesNegotiate and draft construction and design agreements tailored to the needs of each project.Review and prepare industry-standard forms for construction and design, ensuring compliance and precision.Advise clients on matters related to real estate development and large-scale industrial capital projects.Support public procurement processes by managing documentation and providing relevant counsel.Resolve construction claims effectively, prioritizing clients' best interests.Collaborate with peers and clients to foster strong, lasting professional relationships.Requirements3-6 years of experience with transactional law, specifically in construction and design agreements.Exposure to real estate development, public procurement, or construction claims resolution is preferred.Strong academic background demonstrating a commitment to excellence.Proven experience in building strong client relationships.EducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsAdmission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission upon hiring.SkillsProficient in legal writing and research with excellent attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.Strong analytical skills and the capacity to offer creative legal solutions in complex situations.High level of professional integrity and work ethic.Job LocationCleveland, OH The legal practice was founded in 1911.
