Job Summary: DABRI Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager (Level II) to assist in managing elevator modernization and fire alarm projects for the Public Works, Project Management Division II. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing construction projects from initiation through close-out . Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience managing or constructing elevator modernization and/or fire alarm systems projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Scope & Schedule Management: Develop and control project scope, ensuring timely project delivery within budget. Review and update project schedules regularly. Team & Client Coordination: Facilitate regular project team meetings, client meetings, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and successful project execution. Field Observation & Documentation: Conduct field visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance. Prepare and maintain daily construction logs and reports. Change Order Management: Negotiate, prepare, and review change orders as necessary to ensure the project remains on track and within budget. Safety Oversight: Verify that safety procedures and regulations are being followed by all construction staff on-site. Problem Solving: Effectively identify project challenges and develop solutions to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines and goals. Quality Control: Monitor and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and safety standards. Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, including overseeing projects from start to finish . Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or equivalent license in construction management is required. Education: Degree in Architecture , Civil Engineering , Construction Management , or a related field is preferred. Elevator & Fire Alarm Experience: Direct experience in managing or constructing elevator modernization and/or fire alarm systems projects is highly desirable. Proven Leadership: Ability to independently manage all aspects of a construction project and lead cross-functional teams. Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and prepare change orders. Construction Field Experience: Proven ability to manage field observation and coordinate construction activities effectively. Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project conditions and respond to project issues efficiently. Safety Management: Experience in verifying safety procedures and ensuring construction teams adhere to safety standards. Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of construction project management software . Experience working with public sector construction projects.
