The Estimator will use estimating software and MS Excel to accurately determine the necessary materials and workforce for each project.Required Qualifications:Proficient in interpreting blueprints for residential, multi-family, and light commercial projectsStrong understanding of wood frame construction, interior trim work, and fiber cement sidingAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentEffective communication skills with colleagues, contractors, and sales professionalsSelf-motivated, well-organized, and capable of meeting deadlinesSolid grasp of basic mathProficient with computer useAble to compose professional emailsTechnical Skills:Microsoft ProjectMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelExperience with Plan Swift or Bluebeam is advantageousKey Responsibilities:Conduct timely labor take-offs for residential and commercial designsPerform prompt material take-offs for residential and commercial designsPrepare and submit product documentationEnsure products are produced accurately and on scheduleManage deliveries between field teams, shipping department, and vendorsSource and manage subcontractorsDevelop detailed labor scope of workInterested in hearing more?
