North American Renewables, Inc., is seeking a CDI Designer (Construction Design Integration) to join our growing Solar EPC team! This role is based within our corporate office located in Canton, MA with the possibility of future hybrid remote work from home as the individual progresses. The core of this position consists of solar field project designing, modeling and documentation. All designs will be created with the guidance of the CDI Manager and in coordination with our Engineering team.The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and clients. A brief Revit knowledge test will be included as part of the final interview. General Responsibilities: Review and Markup electrical engineering documents, including 1-line drawings. Meet & Adapt to moving project deadlines and changes. Use the company's core values to guide your day-to-day decision making to build upon company culture. Perform responsibilities above and beyond your specific role within the company when needed or identified as needed to further assist in company goals and objectives. Job Specific Responsibilities Review Drawing Sets Define Equipment Locations Detailed Revit Modeling Measuring Circuit Lengths Create Prefabrication Drawing Packages (Revit) Create Field Installation Drawings (Revit) Assist with Design and Standardization of Electrical Equipment Racks & Assemblies (Revit Qualifications : High level computer literacy Intermediate to advanced level Revit user Ability to read & understand construction drawings Ability to read & understand electrical documentation & 1-line drawings Works well in a team environment Have a positive work ethic. Adaptable to fast moving and changing projects Excellent time management skills. Professional & self sufficient Experience REVIT- 1 Year minimum, 2+ preferred eVolve Electrical software preferred Bluebeam Revu software AutoCAD - preferred Understanding of solar field design is highly desired Understanding of array stringing is a big plus Technical Skills Revit Modeling Thorough comprehension of Revit Sheet creation, including schedules and views.
