The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and be prepared to handle a wide range of legal matters in this practice area.Duties:Represent clients in construction-related legal matters, including contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in both state and Federal jurisdictions.Provide legal counsel on construction project disputes, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide expert legal advice to clients.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to achieve successful outcomes for clients.Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations as needed.Stay updated on industry trends and changes in construction law to better serve clientsSkills:In-depth understanding of construction law and legal principles.Legal research and writing skills.Negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.Effective communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.Certifications:Must be a licensed attorney with active bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey is required.Strong knowledge of construction law, regulations, and industry standards.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Requirements:1-8 years of experience practicing law with a significant focus on construction and construction-related matters.
