Education: Secondary school Skills requirements: - Completion of an apprenticeship program or 1-2 years of work experience; - Good English. Main duties and Responsibilities: Inspect and clean surfaces and formworks for concrete pouring; Direct the casting of the concrete into formworks or onto surfaces, level freshly poured concrete; Compact concrete using power vibrator; Smooth surfaces according to grade and depth specifications; Install fixtures in the freshly poured concrete as per blueprints and specifications; Give desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools; Apply sealing, hardening and waterproofing components to treat concrete surfaces; Repair or replace damaged sections of concrete surfaces; Check the finished product to make sure it meets specifications.
