Concrete Finisher(NOC 73100 – Concrete finishers)Employer: God's Power Concrete Ltd Location: 64 Aberdare Cres NE Calgary, AB T2A 6V7 (In and around Calgary) JOB DETAILS Salary: $30.25 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Employment Conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning Start date: Starts as soon as possible Vacancies: 4 vacancies JOB REQUIREMENTSLanguages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Dusty, Noisy, Outdoors, Wet/damp Work setting: Residential Specific Tasks/Responsibilities: • Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools• Instruct apprentices• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures Type of materials: Colours and sealers, Light weight concrete, Reinforcing membrane and protective covering Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail, Sound discrimination, Standing for extended periods Personal suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Flexibility, Team player HOW TO APPLYPlease submit a resume and an application letter.
