Seeking an Estimator with concrete experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hyattsville, MD. Salary Range: $95,000 - $155,000 per year (based on experience) Benefits: Full benefits package including PTO, Medical, Dental, and 401k Responsibilities: Conduct project walkthroughs with clients, ensuring accurate intake of project scope details. Prepare takeoffs from plan sets and estimate job costs. Present detailed bids, including a written scope of work, for submission. Attend inspections (city or public works) as required. Collaborate with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, potential roadblocks, and changes in scope. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in masonry and concrete (commercial sector). 5+ years of concrete estimating experience, including takeoffs. Proficiency with Plan Swift, Bluebeam, and Excel. In-depth knowledge of block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and reading blueprints.
