Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and residents to increase awareness and support for our initiatives. Event Representation: Represent the organization at community events, fairs, and outreach activities, sharing information about our programs and goals. Outreach Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing community outreach campaigns, setting up informational booths, and distributing promotional materials. Public Speaking: Conduct presentations to educate the public about our mission, goals, and services. Collaboration: Coordinate with the internal team to ensure outreach efforts align with organizational objectives. Data Tracking: Collect feedback and track community engagement to evaluate outreach effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Desired Skills & Experience: Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred. Experience in community outreach or public engagement is a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences. Interpersonal Abilities: Strong people skills and the ability to build rapport with community members and stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple events and outreach activities simultaneously. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Passion for Community Work: A genuine enthusiasm for community engagement, public service, and creating positive change.
