The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex commercial litigation, exceptional research and analytical abilities, and a proven track record of drafting substantive litigation documents. The successful applicant will be admitted to the California State Bar and demonstrate strong academic credentials from law school.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in complex commercial litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.Prepare, draft, and review litigation documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.Manage case files, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.Develop and implement case strategies, including discovery and trial preparation.Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding litigation risks and case progress.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case development and strategy.Stay updated on current legal developments and changes in commercial litigation law.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in complex commercial litigation at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm.Admitted to the California State Bar.Proven experience in preparing first drafts of substantive litigation documents.Strong research, analysis, and writing skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Education and CertificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong law school credentials.SkillsProficient in legal research tools and litigation management software.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.
