Responsibilities for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician : Expertly install, inspect, and test new HVAC systems, ensuring full compliance. Conduct regular maintenance and servicing to optimize system performance and longevity. Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration problems. Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing efficient and effective repairs. Maintain meticulous records of all work performed, including detailed diagnostic and repair reports. Clearly communicate with clients, providing understandable explanations and helpful maintenance tips. Requirements for the HVAC Service Technician: 3-5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair. High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training a plus. Valid EPA certification: additional certifications (NATE, etc.) welcomed. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Adaptable to flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments. Proficient in using power tools and specialized HVAC equipment.
