An excellent opportunity for skilled CNC Machinists to join an expanding engineering company based in Coventry Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: Competitive rates of pay, Depending on Experience Job description The company is a well-established engineering firm that have worked mainly in the Motorsport industry for over 20 years. They have built up and maintained a high standard of quality and efficiency that excels in the manufacturing sector and now due to growth and expansion are looking to reach into other sectors. Due to this expansion, we are currently seeking a skilled CNC miller and a skilled CNC turner. The Role: The right candidate should be a skilled CNC miller or CNC Turner and must have some programming experience and a good understanding on how to manufacture and produce components from an engineering drawing. Any previous experience on Alphacam Cad-cam software would be advantageous but training can be provided to the right candidate. The job will consist of programming/setting and machining simple to complex prototype components, as well as at times running on small batch work. Complexed parts are programmed offline, and the candidate will need to competent to a level to manufacture these parts at the machine. We use Fanuc and Heidenhain controls on 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centres. And Fanuc on all CNC lathes. Working hours are: Monday - Thursday: 7.00-4.00Friday: 7.00-12.00with overtime available.
