THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at K. A. Group, a leading manufacturer specializing in scraper equipment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components for our scraper manufacturing process. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining techniques. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce components according to blueprints, specifications, and job orders. Select appropriate tools, inserts, and fixtures for each job and perform tool changes as necessary. Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software such as Inventor HSM, Fusion 360 to efficiently produce parts with tight tolerances. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are being produced within specified dimensions and quality standards. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
