CNC Machinist Salary: A GBP 31,400 to A GBP 33,500 depending on experience Hours of Work: 39 hours a week with flexible day shift and an early finish on Friday. Location: Cross Hills BD20 7BW Due to an increased order book currently recruiting for CNC machinist to join our machine shop. You will be responsible for machining bespoke valves to high specifications; whilst adhering to company policies, procedures and Health and Safety legislation. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to programme, set and operate your machine competently. CNC Machinist Duties include: Programming, setting and operating capability. Demonstrate ability to set any machine right first time. Machine system control experience of either Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol. Good knowledge of either turning or milling machines. Ability to diagnose / trouble shoot machine when faults emerge. CNC Machinist Requirements: Good attention to detail, numerate and literate. Flexibility to embrace change and changing working requirements. A positive attitude towards work, development and team working. Ideally apprentice trained. Experience of working with castings and exotic alloys would be an advantage.
