JOB : CNC Machinist LOCATION : Bedfordshire TERM: Permanent SALARY : Up to GBP 30,000 : Dependant on Experience My client specialises in the automotive industry and are looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team in Bedford on a permanent basis. The CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have the following attributes: : Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Setter : Experience in Milling : Ideally have some experience with or knowledge of programming : Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing : Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components : Be able to read from engineering drawings : Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment : Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team The CNC Setter/Operator role will involve: : Working with CNC machinery and producingplastics : Running multiple machines : small to medium batch work : Inspecting components as required : CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls : Reading from engineering drawings : Adhering to company H and S requirements If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
