We are thrilled to be working with a local Montgomeryville, PA company with an urgent need for a CNC Programmer / Machinist.CNC Programmer /Machinist Job Purpose:Produces precision machined parts by, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.Check out more great details below!Job Title: CNC Programmer /Machinist (Direct Hire)Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct HireHours: First shift Monday - Friday (7:00-3:30pm)Location: Montgomeryville, PA.Pay: $39-41/hourBenefits: Competitive compensation, an excellent benefit package.Health, Life, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, 401k matching.Essential job duties for this role will include: * Plans machining by reviewing work order releases, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances * Programs mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. * Sets-up mills by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, indicating vices. Design and produce proper fixturing. * Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to work instructions on manufacturing travelers. * Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. * Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures. * Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. * Maintains continuity among work centers by documenting and communicating actions and or irregularities. * Responsible for completing production releases and quality sign offs. * Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.We're looking for a CNC Programmer / Machinist professional with the following background profile/skillset: * To be a successful applicant you be a skilled CNC machinist and (programmer) with at least 3 year's experience in programming and close tolerance machining from a job shop background. * Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal and written Communication, Functional and Technical Skills * Controls and Instrumentation, Tooling, Coordination, Attention to Detail, Judgment. * Must have excellent blueprint reading skills. * Must have excellent organizational and housekeeping skills. * Must be able to work overtime as required. * Hourly compensation will be based on experience and programming skills * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Keen attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills * Maintain an orderly work environment with an ability to manage and meet deadlinesIf you are a knowledgeable CNC Machinist / Programmer professional with experience, we strongly urge you to apply today for immediate consideration!
