CMMS Maintenance Planner
POSITION DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the overallasset management, work planning, training, and spare part inventory using EAMsoftware. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains spare partsinventory and audits on a regular basis; publishes a weekly spare part cyclecount results to the facilities management team. Provides software trainingsto end users and new administrators; serves as liaison for system problems andescalations. Coaches and educates staff on the EAM functions and best practicesfor performing tasks. Works with corporate EAMBusiness Analyst to implement standard object coding schemes, preventivemaintenance procedures and scheduling; EAM reports. Manages work orders in thesystem for proper creation, planning, updating, and resolving of work orders. Performs data analysis onparts/assets and recommend software enhancements and process changes. Measures and publishesfacilities KPI metrics to the management team; interprets data and recommendsfindings. Participates in EAMsoftware implementation and provides training at the regional level. Provides support as a Tier1 EAM for the facilities team. Performs other duties asassigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in thisposition. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/ortraining to coworkers. Associates Degree inBusiness Administration, Info Systems, Engineering, or related positionpreferred. Min of 3+ years of related skills. Backgroundwith enterprise software and understanding of standard work process. Backgroundwith planning, scheduling, and auditing overall facilities/maintenanceactivities. Previousbackground with EAM ASE, data analysis, and asset management preferred. COMMUNICATIONSKILLSExpertiseto comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos andask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Expertise to write routinereports and correspondence. Expertise to respond to common inquiries orcomplaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Expertise to effectivelypresent info to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequiresbasic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Expertise to calculate simplefigures such as percentages. REASONING EXPERTISEAbilityto solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituation where only limited standardization exists. Requires intermediateissue solving abilities. OTHER SKILLS and/orABILITIESIntermediateskills with Microsoft office, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Expertise to use work order system. Expertiseto travel 15% of time SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made withgeneral understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set resultsand deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short term impact to co-workers andsupervisor.
