Clinical Systems Analyst Position is located in Dubuque, IA Grand River Medical group is seeking a knowledgeable and motived Clinical Systems Analyst for our I.S. department. Duties include analyzing, developing and maintaining clinical applications and assisting in training clinical staff on applications and programs. The ideal candidate would possess robust troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, and be focused on customer service . You must be willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, 36-40 hours per week. This position is 5 days per week, with on-call responsibilities (after normal business hours), and occasional evening or weekend hours. Duties include but are not limited to: Analyze, develop and maintain clinical applications, procedure and other systems that satisfy the needs of the clinical system users. Review, evaluate and implement requests from clinical system users. Oversee clinical applications to ensure proper use and security. Analyze problems, determine root cause and initiate corrective action. Operate as a leader on projects including but not limited to initiatives to improve clinical processes. Develop clear and concise documentation and instruction manuals. Provide in-service and other forms of continuing education of clinical systems to end users. Coordinate implementation of clinical systems. Maintain a high level of interaction with all clinical areas to continually enhance and improve patient care. Education/Experience/Skills: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Friendly, empathetic, and accountable. Four-year degree in Healthcare or Computer Science - preferred. RN, LPN or CMA - preferred. Minimum two years of experience in Information Systems; experience within a health care setting preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communicate effectively, coordinate multiple duties simultaneously and be able to independently solve clinical system related issues. Project management.
