Job Summary Provides competent care to patients in the family practice clinic setting. Education/Requirements/Knowledge/Skills: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (minimum associate degree nursing). A current State of Iowa Nursing License. Six months previous ambulatory care nursing experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills including time management and work flow. Creativity and flexibility. Great attention to detail. Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for own actions. The ability to serve as a patient advocate. The ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clerical and professional staff. The ability to follow policies, procedures and guidelines. The ability to maintain and display professionalism within the office setting. Excellent phone etiquette. Ability to work flexible hours.
