Illumination Foundation (IF) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children's and family programs. IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire. Job Description The Client Care Associate/CNA helps patients with direct health care needs, assisting with activities of daily living, comfort, nutrition, hygiene needs, and maintain facility upkeep. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour , depending on experience. This position also qualifies for $1.00 swing shift differential and $2.00 graveyard shift differential. Responsibilities Client Care: Assist with daily living activities to ensure the patient's well-being. (grooming, assisting with bathroom needs, delivering meals, and mobility needs). Conduct morning, afternoon, and evening checks for all clients to observe their wellbeing. Check in with clients on-site and perform walk-throughs of dorm areas to ensure client safety and welfare. Conduct periodic checks of client belongings to ensure that prohibited items are not brought on-site. As instructed by management. Report emergency situations to Supervisor/Manager and document incidents. Perform administrative tasks as needed and answering the site phone. Compliance/Safety: Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and the client. Client Transportation: Drive clients to and from appointments/general program activities as scheduled or authorized. Update Transportation Logs and inform Supervisor of any vehicle issues. Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicles. Facility Upkeep: Perform routine janitorial cleaning and facility maintenance, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sanitizing the facility bathrooms, kitchen, and rooms. Update cleaning logs. Dispose of all trash accumulated within the facility. Ensure restrooms and kitchens are stocked with necessary items. Maintain client storage and retrieval process. Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. State Certified Nursing Assistants certification. Basic computer skills, including the ability to send and receive emails and summarize data in spreadsheets. Maintains current CPR certification. Multi-tasking skills Valid CA Driver’s License and eligibility for company vehicle insurance. Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Calendar).
