We are seeking experienced and reliable CDL Class A local driver to join our team. As an local driver, you will be responsible for picking up orders and delivering them to our main distribution center in Dayton, NJ,. This position offers competitive pay, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing transportation team. Specifics: Average 9am start time avg 8-10 hour days $260 per day rate Local Area Pick Ups - Domiciled out of Dayton, NJ Responsibilities: - Safely operate and drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations - Transport and deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or concerns - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members - Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times Requirements: - Valid CDL Class A license with no major violations in the last 3 years - Minimum of 1 years of Class A driving experience - Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance - Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucking equipment - Excellent driving and maneuvering skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency - Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service - Good communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: - Competitive pay - Paid time off and vacation days - Opportunities for advancement and career growth - Modern and well-maintained equipment If you are a motivated and experienced Class A driver looking for a rewarding career opportunity with a reputable transportation company, we encourage you to apply.
