Work type: Full-time, on-site. N Job Details: This is a Direct Hire Civil Engineer opportunity for well-established Indianapolis Engineering firm that has been in operation for over 25 years. This firm of over 50 employees focuses on transportation, site development, inspection, surveying and right-of-way in the state of Indiana. Job Description and Responsibilities: • Civil design in roadway, grading, drainage, utility and site development projects.• Produces engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.• Build excellent communication skills with project team, government agencies and clients• Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.• Produces engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules• Utilize time efficiently in completing tasks accurately, on schedule and within budget• Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements. Requirements: • Degree Required: B.S. Civil Engineering• Experience in Design of Civil Engineering Projects• EIT or PE preferred.• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation and similar engineering software recommendedPowered by JazzHR
