This position, which can be done remotely, offers the opportunity to work on complex business litigation and employment defense cases. The firm is committed to supporting its team members’ growth, both professionally and personally, in a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in managing litigation matters, crafting legal strategies, and delivering outstanding legal services to clients throughout California.Duties:Manage complex business litigation and employment defense casesDraft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissionConduct and defend depositions for both fact and expert witnessesPrepare and argue motions, including motions to dismiss and motions in limineProvide legal counsel to clients regarding litigation risks and strategiesParticipate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processesCollaborate with the firm’s principal and legal support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clientsMaintain a proactive approach to case management, ensuring deadlines and objectives are metRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on business litigation and/or employment defenseStrong background in drafting and responding to discovery, depositions, and legal motion practiceProficient in civil procedure, evidence, and substantive business litigation and employment defense lawStrong research and analytical abilities to manage and resolve complex legal issuesExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines efficientlyEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active and in good standing California State Bar license with a clean disciplinary recordSkills:Strong litigation, research, and problem-solving skillsExpertise in conducting depositions and drafting complex legal motionsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamExcellent time management and organizational skillsClient-focused mindset with strong communication and negotiation skillsBenefits:Opportunity to work remotelyA collaborative work environment that values professional and personal growthLocation:Remote (Must be licensed to practice law in California)This role offers a unique opportunity for a litigation attorney to work remotely while handling complex business and employment litigation cases.
