Job Title: IT/OT Strategy Lead Introduction to role: Join AstraZeneca, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, as our new IT/OT Strategy Lead. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between IT and OT domains, systems, and operating models, ensuring alignment with our business goals. You will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation across our manufacturing and production environments. Accountabilities: As the IT/OT Strategy Lead, you will develop and implement a cohesive IT/OT strategy that supports the business objectives and operational needs. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure alignment between IT, OT, and business strategies. You will lead the integration of IT/OT systems to improve efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making capabilities. You will lead all aspects of the implementation of cybersecurity measures to protect IT/OT infrastructure from internal and external threats. You will facilitate the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, machine learning, and predictive analytics. You will manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure that IT/OT solutions are delivered on time and within budget. You will stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends to maintain competitiveness and innovation. You will encourage organizational change initiatives to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new IT/OT systems and processes. You will provide expert mentorship and support to IT/OT teams, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Essential Skills/Experience: * Bachelor's Degree required* 7+ years of relevant experience required* Demonstrable experience in IT/OT strategy development and execution, preferably in a leadership role.* Good understanding of IT/OT architectures, systems, and technologies, including cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and industrial automation.* Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technology solutions, with a track record of driving innovation and delivering results.* Superb social skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.* Strategic problem solver with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.* Professional certifications in IT, OT, or cybersecurity.* Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is preferred.* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and GxP compliance in a manufacturing context is a plus.When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to encourage life-changing medicines.
