Our staff leads and executes a variety of educational and recreational activities in our diverse, choice-based program.Job responsibilities: Create and implement enrichment choice-based programs and activities for students, including arts and crafts, games, educational activities, and physical activities Maintain a classroom environment, ensuring safety and cleanliness Provide coaching and mentorship opportunities for Child Care Assistants Maintain health and safety plans according to district guidelines and procedures Foster relationships with parents/guardians, students, and school district personnel Pay & Schedule: Competitive pay starting at $24.87/hour with the opportunity for a higher rate depending on experience Full-time 8-hour split shift from 6:30 - 10:30 am and 2:00 - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday only, no weekends Year-round position Benefits: Full benefits for employees working 20+ hours per week, including health and dental Generous holiday and paid time off package Professional development opportunities Opportunities to grow your childcare career in the school district Qualifications: 2-year degree in child development or a related field or equivalent experience At least 2 years of child care experience in a program-based, classroom setting 24 hours of college credits Candidates who are organized and willing to collaborate with our program staff will excel in this role.
