Are you passionate about working with children and creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for them to learn and grow? We’re looking for a friendly and patient individual to join our team as a Kids’ Company Associate at Watertown-Mayer School District. In this role, you’ll actively engage with children during program hours, support their social and emotional development, and ensure they have an enjoyable experience in a structured setting. Key Responsibilities: Actively engage with children during program hours, fostering a positive and welcoming environment. Use patience and warmth to guide children with appropriate child guidance techniques. Encourage communication, problem-solving, and social skills development through effective role modeling. Assist with and implement accommodation plans to ensure every child’s success. Lead group activities and support program planning, contributing your ideas for fun and educational experiences. Help set up and clean up games, equipment, and supplies, keeping our space organized. Maintain accurate records, including attendance and behavior, and ensure confidentiality at all times. Welcome parents and children during check-in and pick-up, providing regular positive feedback to parents. Benefits: Between $19.86 - $22/hr based on experience Holiday Pay, Health Care, Vacation, Retirement, Childcare discount Get paid to play! Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience working with children; coursework in education or recreation is a plus! A friendly, flexible attitude and the ability to follow directions while maintaining a safe and fun environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and engage in light lifting (up to 20 lbs). You may encounter occasional exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
