We’re seeking a Child Care Lead to join our team at Delano Community Education Center! If you're passionate about sparking joy and growth in little ones, this is your chance to shine. In this role, you'll be part of a team delivering top-notch preschool and school-age care programs, leading a classroom of bright young minds, and crafting a fun, safe, and inspiring place where kids can thrive. Your Role Will Include: Leading a preschool or school-age group during our out-of-school childcare Planning and facilitating activities Fostering relationships to support children's growth Maintaining a safe and organized classroom Mentoring high school aides Collaborating with the team for consistent, high-quality care Qualifications: 1+ years of experience and licensure in early childhood education, K-6, or a related field Must have a background check and reliable transportation Solid understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Minimum age of 18, with a High School Diploma or GED Flexible and experienced working with children, including those with disabilities, and managing student behaviors Salary and Benefits: $20.67 - $23.72 per hour, based on experience Health and dental benefits Paid time off Locations & Shift Times: Delano Community Education Center Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Program hours are 6:45 am - 5:45 pm; Shift: 10 am-6 pm. This is a 12-month position, including non-school days.
