At Kids Connection , part of St. Francis Area Schools' Community Education, we provide a fun, safe, and engaging space for kids to grow, explore, and make friends! From gym time and outdoor play to arts and crafts, science experiments, and group games, there’s always something exciting happening. Now, we’re looking for a Lead Instructor to help make it all happen! Your role will include: Being the go-to person! You’ll lead the site when the Coordinator is out, opening and closing the program Monday to Friday Help plan and lead fun, creative activities for kids Guide and support the staff, including training new team members Spend about 75% of your time directly engaging with the kids, making their day awesome Work closely with the Coordinator to adjust shifts and responsibilities as needed Enjoy straight shifts during non-school days (NSD) and summer months, with potential for additional hours Locations: Cedar Creek Elementary: 21108 Polk Street NE, East Bethel St. Francis Elementary: 22919 St. Francis Blvd NW, St. Francis Shift time: Split Shift - 6.5 hours per day Monday - Friday 5:45 - 9:30 AM & 3:00 - 6:00 PM Perks and Pay: $19.60/hour plus a $0.50/hour differential for split shifts Health and dental benefits 5 floating holidays and 15 sick days $500 phone stipend Qualifications: 18 or older with a high school diploma CDA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development preferred 1+ years of experience working with kids preferred A natural leader who takes initiative and jumps in wherever needed Strong communication skills, able to connect with parents, staff, and children Reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check Being flexible, love being with kids, and enjoy being active—whether it’s in the gym or outside If you’re a self-starter who loves working with children, this is the perfect role for you.
