Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Well-established construction & facilities management company Industry Construction Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team and drive the financial strategy and operations as the company continues to expand. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, and at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial management role within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial leadership, executive leadership, team management, budgeting, and forecasting, and will be expected to apply their construction industry expertise to ensure accurate project costing, financial management of construction contracts, and effective cash flow management.Applicants for the CFO position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA being preferred. Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, financial management of contracts, and project costing is essential. The role also demands a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, experience in strategic decision-making, and exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The CFO will be involved in strategic planning, mergers, and acquisitions, and will be the primary contact for investor relations, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
