Roetzel & Andress, a national law firm with a busy and growing litigation practice, seeks a Civil Litigation Associate for its Chicago office with experience in handling complex litigation matters.Primary responsibilities for this position include: Preparation of initial pleadings and discovery. Appearance at hearings in Federal and State Court. General support of partners in civil litigation matters from inception.Position requirements: In excess of five years of complex litigation experience in state and federal courts. Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in good standing with the ARDC. Exceptional research and writing skills. Strong analytical skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently with multiple partners while using sound judgment in decision-making. Demonstrate abilities to manage relationships with clients and colleagues. Meet or exceed the required monthly billable hour requirements.Competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
