Description:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Food Science or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Position required 2 years of experience gained in all of the following: experience with various laboratory methods and equipment used in dairy chemistry analysis such as Kjeldahl, Mojonnier, HPLC Lactose/Vitamin, etc; experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper calibration of various lab equipment such as Kjeldahl distillers, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and chromatography systems; experience working with Quality Managers to ensure quality control by implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures, conducting regular equipment and instrument checks, verifying the accuracy of test results, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Train lab technicians on lab methods; experience in Analyzing and interpreting data using Microsoft Excel to identify trends, make informed decisions and provide accurate reports to clients; experience with LIMS software to efficiently navigate and utilize LIMS to streamline laboratory operations, track sample progress, and maintain accurate records; experience in safety protocols, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures to ensure all lab personnel adhere to safety guidelines; experience in industry-specific regulations, such as Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ability to implement and maintain compliance within the laboratory, including documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to quality control standards.To apply please send CV & cover letter to Ref# JT0924.
