Come join our team!For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employmentSummary:The Certified Nursing Assistant-M - Long Term Care role is responsible for administering medications accurately and in a timely manner to residents. The Certified Nursing Assistant-Medications - Long Term Care completes a 120-hour medication course and upon passing the state exam, is permitted to administer medications in a health care facility under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant-Medications (CNA-M) required. Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Medication Technician required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: One year of experience in either Medical Surgical Nursing, Long Term Care, including Dementia Care and/or Skilled Care or Home Care setting preferred. 4.
