All In Solutions, a Service Disabled Owned, Woman Owned Small Business, is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to work in our Fredericksburg, VA clinic to assist with the examinations of Veterans for disability claims with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Take a look and come join us!Required: COVID-19 VaccinationMedical assistant duties and responsibilities:Many of the daily tasks that medical assistants perform are a combination of clerical and clinical duties, which often include:Administrative dutiesMedical assistants are responsible for performing a range of administrative tasks, including:Managing office telephone systems, including answering calls and returning messagesScheduling patient appointments and maintaining communication to confirm future appointmentsDocumenting patients' medical information, including medical history and health insurance informationPerforming data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient filesCoordinating daily office activities, greeting patients and checking patients in and out for their appointmentsClinical duties:Medical assistants may be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks, depending on the size and needs of their workplace. Some common clinical tasks these professionals do can include:Recording patients' vital signs, documenting physicians' notes and changes in medical conditionsTaking tissue and fluid samples and sending them in for laboratory analysisPrepping exam rooms for clinical procedures and assisting practitioners with patient careAssisting physicians during routine checkups, outpatient procedures and other physical examsMonitoring and documenting patient symptoms for physicians' review during clinical examsProviding compassionate patient support and care, attention and assistance during office visitsPreparing and administering medications under the direction of supervising physiciansPerform audiometric testing, data entry and administrative functions pertaining to audio examinations.Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hourQualifications:High school or equivalent (Required)Certified Medical Assistant (Required)CPR Certification (Required)BLS Certification (Preferred)Occupational Hearing Conservationist Certification (OHC) (required or willing to receive upon hiring)
