Together, our dedication to our associates and customers, commitment to growth and innovation, and our family traditions continue to thrive.We are currently recruiting for the position of:Center Store Manager - Lucky - 1979 Peabody Rd., Vacaville, CA 95687The Center Store Manager ensures that our customers' needs are met and exceeded through effective day-to-day management of the operations and merchandising functions for the Center Store Department. This position oversees Center Store product and conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction (including back room and steel/shelving and conditions, inventory, schematics, and pricing).The Center Store Manager provides leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture reflective of Lucky's mission statement and winning behaviors. This position trains and develops associates to enable their success and ability to advance in their careers. The Center Store Manager manages department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.Some of our competitive benefits offerings include generous benefits packages (Health, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, 401K), tuition reimbursement and scholarship opportunities, vacation and personal holidays, and in-store purchase discounts.Hiring pay range: $31.54 - $36.48Education: Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)Experience: Completion of Assistant Center Store Manager rotation - or - two years equivalent management experience - or - in current Bakery Department Manager or Meat Department Manager or Produce Department Manager roleOther: Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be forklift certifiedPhysical: Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. Customer Focus Leading People Management Skills Personal/Interpersonal Skills Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership/team building, customer service, training, organization, math and administration (to include department financial) skills.
