Over-the-Road (OTR) Tanker truck driverAverage pay: $1,200-$1,460 weeklyHome time: Every other weekExperience: All CDL holdersOverview Haul 75% non-hazardous freight in tanker trailers. Home three days every other weekend. Pay and bonus potential Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving. Weekly performance pay. Earn up to $0.03 more per mile by obtaining additional CDL certifications. $2,000 sign-on bonus in 12 monthly payments for experienced drivers. Paid orientation. Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Tanker endorsement required at time of hire. HazMat endorsement required after starting; Schneider's self-paced online certification training will help you secure it. Need one or more of your endorsements, or unsure if you qualify?
