Catheter Lab Technician Role Summary Our client seeks a Catheter Lab Technician to join their rapidly growing team. The Catheter lab Technician provides individualized, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff, monitoring patient condition and assessing needs, and communicating and documenting all required details as per facility charting protocol. Key Results Area Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, amongst others Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure Assess and manage access site and inform physician Adhere to on call protocol for the Cath lab Prepare patients for their procedures Skills & Qualifications Candidate must be a Licensed Radiologic Technologist RCIS certification is preferred BLS, ACLS, & IABP experience is required Previous experience working in a Cardiac Cath lab is required High School Diploma or GED is required Powered by JazzHR
