Evans Motorworks is looking to hire a cashier to help with our growing business! Come be a part of an exciting and growing team of professionals! Great pay offered with opportunity for growth! C ashier Responsibilities: Receives payment for parts, service and sales departments by itemizing and totaling customers' purchases Cashier position includes: Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers Making change for cash customers. Verifies credit payments by reviewing and recording driver's license number; operating credit card authorization approval code. Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of shift; cash drawer is then reconciled against closed repair orders, parts tickets and receipts. Maintains a professional, calm manner when negotiating with difficult or upset customers. Contributes to and encourages others to demonstrate a team focused, values based, service culture throughout the company. Contributes to effective operations by providing support where and when as needed on sale/customer promotion dates.
