Job location : CAVHCS, Tuskgee , Alabama. Schedule : 9 to 5,Monday to Friday . Qualifications : have at least 3 years documented experience. Be able to perform heavy work, lifting of 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally. Capacity of working in confined, high ,noisy, hot, and hazardous spaces. Ability to function safely while wearing a respirator. Duties : Measures, cuts, constructs, or repairs wood or wood substitute items such as scaffolding, staging parts, panels, bin pallets, concrete forms, dry walls, and rook decking. Measures, cuts, constructs, installs, repairs, and modifies building components such as rafters, walls, staircases, windows, and frames, trim work, and cabinets. Independently plans and completes projects that involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/exterior trim, staircases, trusses, and beams. Plans, measures and lay out carpentry materials using broad knowledge of wood materials and substitutes with general and precision woodworking techniques. Knowledge of metal framing for walls and drop ceiling . Concrete and Masonry skills. Projects involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/ exterior trim, staircases, trusses and beams. Powered by JazzHR
