Cardiology Invasive physician employment in Iowa : Join a medical community renowned for its compassionate care! Due to a physician retirement, we are seeking a dedicated physician with an active Illinois license and/or IMLC to start as soon as November. Practice Setting Inpatient medical setting in Iowa treating adults only Average of 0-3 patient consultations daily Inpatient rounds for an average of 5-10 patients per day Full hospital surgical support staff Charting: CERNER Cases and Procedures Types of cases consist of Cardiac (open heart), thoracic (chest surgery) required, and vascular (AAA bypass) Surgeries preferred, but not required The provider will not be required to see patients in the clinic, but will be available as backup for the NP Schedule Ongoing, 6-12 month assignment with 5 on and 5 off Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call coverage for inpatient rounding, consults, and emergent cases Travel and Lodging Travel and lodging support is provided Inviting community offering a friendly atmosphere Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Within 5 Years IMLC or Illinois medical license JN -092022-27465
