OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTSTrinity Health IHA Medical Group - Ann Arbor have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Surgery physician to join a busy, well-established multi-specialty group located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The group is looking to fill an opening due to an upcoming physician retirement with a new graduate. The selected physician must be interested in performing only cardiac procedures. This physician will have close working relationships with dedicated Board-Certified Thoracic surgeons and Physician Assistants currently taking part in a PA Cardiothoracic Residency program. The practice consists of: Three cardiac surgeons Two thoracic surgeons20 Cardiothoracic APP Providers (who provide 24/7/365 coverage)Practice Manager Registered Nurses Medical Assistants and Clerical support Call is currently 1:3 This practice currently sees over 600 Cardiac surgical cases each year in addition to another 200 TAVR cases and maintains a close working relationship with Michigan Heart; a large Cardiology group with over 40 providers. It is the single surgical group at Trinity Health Ann Abor, where all surgeries are performed. The practice has a dedicated Anesthesiology and OR nursing team with state-of-the-art operative facility including a hybrid room, dedicated block time and state of the art simulation center. This practice provides a wide variety of procedures including: Complex aortic surgery Reconstructive aortic and mitral surgery Endo vascular procedures Da Vinci robotic mitral valve procedures Coronary artery bypass with multi-arterial grafts Ross Procedure TAVRMAZE Procedure Convergent Procedures This is an excellent opportunity for a Cardiac Surgeon to be a part of a leading multi-specialty group in southeast Michigan.
