JOB : CAM Programmer / Engineer LOCATION : Hampshire TERM : Permanent SALARY : GBP 35,000 : GBP 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a CNC CAM programmer / Engineer on a permanent basis in the Hampshire area with experience in machining / mechanical manufacturing. Your main duties will be programming 3,4 and 5 axis machining programmes as well as coming up with routings and assisting with continuous improvement projects. The CAM Programmer / Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : Previous experience in a CAM or CNC programming position. : Capable of using Solid CAM, Edge CAM, Master CAM or similar softwares. : Capable of carrying out 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC programming. : Be able to determine manufacturing methods of new product introductions and manufacturing time taken. : Be responsible for the introduction of new machine tools. : Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written : Experience working within an ISO9001 working environment (not essential) : Ability to work independently as well as team. : Experience with Solid CAM or similar : advatageous The main duties of CAM Programmer / Engineer role will involve: : Running CAM programmes using Solid CAM and similar CAM softwares. : Advise on any production issues and faults during day to day production. : Assist other members within the CNC / Machining department to ensure components are manufactured correctly : Assist with new tooling introduction.
