A company is looking for an Assistant Laboratory Director (Hybrid or Remote). Key Responsibilities: Review and sign out negative and straightforward positive clinical test reports Classify and approve straightforward variants Fulfill regulatory responsibilities as delegated by the CLIA laboratory Director Required Qualifications, Training, and Education: Doctoral degree in a field related to genetics from an accredited institution Board certification (or board-eligible) from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) or equivalent Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license from the California Department of Public Health Successful completion of an ABMGG fellowship program specialized in the service of the laboratory Technical knowledge of laboratory testing and terminology
